So I joined Twitter today and so far have 8 followers. To be honest I wasn't really on this twitter thing at first but when you think about it, it really is an interesting insight into some of the most famous people on the planet. However I'm really just on it to promote my blog, and yet none of the 8 people following me have read my blog, I really want more people to read it as well as giving me ideas about what to write about, I mean I will always be able to come up with something but it is nice to know when people are actually interested in what I write, especially when it's something they came up with.
Don't worry I will have more interesting things coming up soon but I thought I'd start off light.
So at the risk of sounding like a total loser.....FOLLOW ME FOLLOW ME, and then READ ME READ ME!!!

So now I'm a blogger! Well sort of!!!
So I decided to start this blog because a friend of mine started one, we had a lengthy conversation about all the things we would be writing about and this empowered me.
I am opinionated and some of my views are going to cause offence, which is why I decided to write as Genevieve Knight; I will explain who she is in a moment but just to clarify, I am not writing as her because I am afraid but because it is empowering to be someone different at times, and I believe wholeheartedly that we all should have an alter ego.
I came up with the name by taking it from my two favourite authors books; Genevieve Knight is in her early 20s, she has a job, has a boyfriend, lives on her own and is popular amongst MOST people who know her.
Genevieve is stubborn, she is confident, she is opinionated, she is honest, she is difficult and walks around letting everybody know how she feels about everything but Genevieve is also happy, she is funny, she is caring, she is motivated, she is powerful. In fact I would go as far to say that she is who most women want to be..FREE she doesn't live by the conventional rules of society, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I'd like to think that she is a part of me that comes alive when the real me just lets go, kind of like Beyonce and Sasha Fierce.
Maybe one day I will reveal who I am, to all of you, only one person knows who I really am and that is my friend and fellow blogger (who I won't reveal to you either) but for now you can call me...Genevieve Knight
